Hi all members. In an effort to reclaim our courtyard for BMAC use, we must exhibit works regularly in this valuable space. I have been delagated the role of curating this space, and would love to see our works in there as soon as possible.
I have broused through our members sights looking for a common theme to string together either a set of works or possibly an installation by one or more collorative artists.
One issie I have found in this site with my own works ( coppper dresses) is the strength of the wind in this courtyard. I will be going up this week to look at ways of fixing works or installations in the space for future possibilities. I have thought of using the wind for kinetic type forms…
I will be contacting individual artists shortly with some ideas, but if there is anyone with a suggestion or scultpture work they’d like to suggest for the location, then don’t hesitate to email me ASAP on lizhale@iinet.net.au I hope to get an exhibition installed by the mid July but will let you all know when i have discussed our options further with the Edge staff and BMAC exec.
