Our members are mostly practising artists in almost all categories of the arts, from Painting to Writing, Sculpture to Ceramics, Jewellery to Woodturning, Clothing design to Film making, Glasswork to Live Performance. You may fit one or more of the same categories of art. Or you may be in a category all of your own. Either way, you are most welcome and you will find many kindred souls here: people who share your joys and passions, people who strike similar problems and find their own ways through. Come and join a growing organization committed to Connecting and Nurturing our members and the Mountains arts community.
As well as practising artists we have members who run galleries or have arts related businesses.

Opportunities to exhibit your work at BMAC run exhibitions e.g. the Blue Mountains City Council Artspace Programme, etc. Social events and informal gatherings of our members. A key part of our name and activities is Networking. We aim to get people together, to bring our members out of the studios, caves and bush and into the warm company of other artists. And then it’s back to the studio, the screen, the outdoors etc, all inspired and connected.

If you don’t have a web page to link to, we can provide you with details of professional web designers who can help you set one up. Opportunities to promote your art – a classified section to service your needs.
An opportunity to get involved in the running of your organization. We are all practicing artists volunteering our time and we appreciate any other enthusiastic people taking on some of the workload. We work well, get things done and then get on with the rest of our busy lives. You can help yourself, your organization and your fellow members by getting involved and contributing news, views and info.
And all this for just $60 a year. If you are not a member and have never been one, you will need to pay an extra $1 joining fee once only. If you join part way through any other year, your membership would be pro-rata to the end of our financial year.
