Recent projects: Artists Observed: Blue Mountains Artists Close Up published by UNSW Press. This project has taken over 3 years to complete and is my gift to all the wonderfully creative people in the Blue Mountains. This book is now sold out at the publishers but there are copies at Gleebooks in Blackheath and The Nook in Leura.

In the 1980’s Carole’s writing was published in various magazines such as Meanjin, Eyeline, Photofile (which she briefly edited and was a regular contributor), Between U & S (UTS anthology of writers). After completing her Postgraduate Diploma in the Visual Arts at Sydney College of the Arts, she was selected by The Performance Space in Sydney to show her work. This exhibition was reviewed by Christopher Allen in the Sydney Morning Herald.

Since the late 1990’s besides her documentary and portrait photography, she has been developing another body of work with a more ethereal or spiritual dimension. Works such as Blissful Thinking and The Essence of Luminosity have grown out of a more meditative state of mind and a desire to create something beautiful. These together with other images are on show at Cafe Memento in Blackheath until 30th November 2009.
