David Mapletoft is a photographer with a passion for exploring people, landscape and nature.

He has been taking photographs for over 30 years.

“People are my favourite subjects.

People come to me for all reasons to be photogrphed. They may be creating ‘art’ themselves eg musicians, performers; or they want to become a work of art eg my ‘Naked Landscape’ series; or they may be connected with my work as a nurse and midwife eg family and pregnancy portraits; or they just want to explore and create something special for themselves.

I enjoy the outdoors, especially the local landscape of the Blue Mountains.”
