Welcome!
I am a self-taught artist and I love to paint. I emigrated to Australia from Wales in 1978 and now live in the beautiful Blue Mountains with my husband. Although I have been interested in art since childhood my creativity did not emerge until late 2007.

I was honoured recently to receive the top award of the Rose Lindsay Art Prize in August 2011 for my Blue Mountains Painting. The exhibition took place at the Springwood Art Show

I am inspired by Australia’s beautiful beaches and landscapes and began to paint this scenery in watercolours before experimenting with acrylics and pastels. I enjoy using all mediums that allow me to create a diverse range of art from landscapes, florals, and subjects that move me. I also enjoy producing art with bright watercolours and allow my imagination to run wild.

I believe the passion for art comes from a person’s soul and feelings and emotions are portrayed with the stroke of a brush. My hope is that my paintings resonate with you and transport you to a place filled with calm and serenity.
