Rachele Wildmare(Mare) Violinist/Painter/Digital Artist
Mare is a versatile violinist involved in stage shows and circus cabaret. She regularly performs on the corporate scene around Australsia, and sometimes as far as Europe.
Mare is also a passionate painter, interested in representing the sounds of her music.
The act of playing the violin is a major influence on Mares technique as a painter.
Other influences include music generally, lifeforce energy, the processes of nature and the complexity of nature.
Mare has had 3 solo exhibitions, as well as presenting paintings in the Crockett Group Art Prize, where she sold one of her more significant works. (Oct 08).
Mare was featured in a solo exhibition of music-inspired paintings at Savoy in Katoomba from March to June 08, where she exhibited 16 paintings, and sold some of her best work.
Her paintings were also exhibited at The Shed, Katoomba for 3 months, until Nov 07.
In August 2007 she exhibited 12 paintings and over 60 digital artworks at The Clarendon in conjunction with a performace of moZaiKas music, and a multimedia presentation of Mares digital work.
Mare is inspired and motivated by the wonder of life, nature and the creative process itself.
